Graham joined Tidal Lagoon Power in 2015 from Natural Resources Wales (NRW) where he was Executive Director of Operations. Prior to the formation of NRW in 2013, Graham spent ten years working for the Environment Agency in Wales, in various Leadership and Director roles such as Director of Flood & Coastal Risk Management, and Area Manager for SE and SW Wales. In addition, Graham benefits from over twenty years’ experience in the private sector, including international technical, commercial and leadership roles with Wimpol, Wimpey Environmental, Fugro GEOS and Ocean Numerics. Graham’s experience is founded on the provision of marine environmental science services to industry and governments worldwide. Graham is a former Chair and current member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) in Wales. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST). Graham’s qualifications include a BSc in Geography & Oceanography, an MSc in Marine Geotechnics and an MBA.
Currently, Graham is the Managing Director of Development Services with responsibility for all aspects of our tidal lagoon fleet development. This includes environmental, EIA, planning and land developments, together with support services such as HR.
