Roger joined Tidal Lagoon Power (TLP) in 2014 and is now applying the skills and experience gained during a successful career in professional services to the development of the world’s first fleet of full-scale tidal lagoons.
His background includes board and leadership roles, focused on business development, commercial and operations management, predominantly in the technology and business consultancy sector. Roger’s last role prior to joining TLP was Chief Operating Officer at Sword Group Technology Services; a specialised Software and IT services company listed on NYSE Euronext.
Roger joined TLP as Development Director for West Cumbria. His role has now been expanded to include TLP’s future fleet (the lagoons which follow Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay) in the Severn Estuary, with responsibility for delivery of the programmes which will take these projects from initiation to consent.
